**Equine Influenza** – it has always been recommended by Mynydd Delyn that all equines attending the showground are up to date on their vaccinations. Please ensure that any equine that may be unwell is left at home.
The committee reserve the right to refuse entries from any equine that is in our opinion unwell and unfit for competition. Also we reserve the right to spot check passports if it is required.
Show Season 2019 – We’re Back!
Hello from your new Mynydd Delyn Committee. We’d like to thank the outgoing committee for all their hard work putting on the shows and presentation evening over the last few years.
We all very much missed the show during 2018, so we are glad to be a part of helping get it back up and running once more.
This year we are also excited to be a part of the Stars Champion of Champions Show (North). If you haven’t heard the buzz about this, it’s the brainchild of Sarah Harrison and it gives amateur showing competitors the chance to compete in a HOYS like environment. There are a total of 23 classes held by Mynydd Delyn this year that are eligible for qualification. They are denoted by asterisks on our schedule. Come along and join us, we’re a friendly bunch. And remember – you have to be in it to win it!!
**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**
Due to being over subscribed for our presentation evening, and not wanting to turn anybody away, we have had to change our venue! Unfortunately the Halkyn Cricket Club will not be suitable for the amount of people who are due to attend. Our NEW venue will be Stamford Gate Hotel, Halkyn Road, Holywell, Flintshire (Sat Nav users CH8 7SJ). We believe we have contacted all those that have bought tickets, but we would still ask if everyone can spread the word if possible just in case we don’t reach everybody.

We have sought further advice with a local vet, and have made the decision to postpone our first show (24th April).
Unfortunately it seems that cases are on the rise and not being isolated therefore we do not want to put our competitors and ourselves, as horse owners, at risk!
We are looking at replacement dates and will confirm this when we can.
For those who have pre-entered we can either refund you or transfer your entries over to the next show.
We understand this will be disappointing news but we are doing this for your horses welfare and hope you understand

Mynydd Delyn Riding Club is a non-profit club based in North Wales. The club was formed in 1973 and is still going strong in its 43rd year! Over the years the club has helped to produce lots of young riders, some of which have gone on to have international success.
We are a very small committee and we urgently need more committee members, helpers and volunteers for the upcoming season. Most of us work full time as well as having our own horses and children to look after. It is imperative we find more help this season as we cannot carry on running the club at the standard you currently enjoy without extra help.
Being on the committee does not mean you have to commit yourself to a large, regular job. There are many small roles that can be undertaken which would really help the club to run smoothly. Please contact us for more information.

Our jumps are in desperate need of some TLC and we need your help! Mynydd Delyn is run as a nonprofit club and therefore we are often reliant on donations. If you have any old, un-wanted paint lying around in your garages, sheds etc, we would love to make use of it! If you feel you can help, paint can be taken to Pets Pantry or you can contact us via Facebook to make other arrangements. Thank you in advance
